One of Ken Maynard's very best silent westerns, The Unknown Cavalier was filmed on locations in Death Valley, California. Maynard plays Tom Drury, a cowboy whose quick thinking stops a notorious outlaw. This lobby has a thin backing board affixed to the card, though does not appear to be recent, but not original to the card. Pinholes in corners, top corners have small amount of area missing, signs of handling and soiling, o/w good graphic appeal. (LC96); $85.

Buck Jones had more than 160 film credits to his name, in a career that began in 1918. By the 1920s, Jones joined Hoot Gibson, Tom Mix, and Ken Maynard as the top cowboy actors of the day. Buck Jones was one of the 492 victims of the 1942 Cocoanut Grove fire in Boston, Massachusetts, dying two days after the November 28 blaze.

A visually appealing card, exhibits thumb tack holes in corner. , b/r corner has a small repaired surface defect, a brush mark along the seated gents face. (Lc.41); $125.

Rocky Rhodes was Buck Jones' first western vehicle for Universal Pictures. Evidently inheriting a leftover script from previous Universal cowboy star Ken Maynard, Jones plays the title character. Card has toning , exhibiting soiling and use, pinholes in corners, slight damage to t/l and b/l corners, good graphic appeal. LC81

The Devil's Saddle was set on the Hopi reservation in northern Arizona. Maynard played Harry Morrel, a rancher falsely accused of killing a member of the tribe. Title card has repaired tear right center on border, minor diagonal crease t/r side; one card has small ¼ tear on bottom border, the remaining cards are all in fine cond, may exhibit a minor corner crease or should light use or handling., (LC90); $365.
