Charles Henry Twelvetrees (1872 -1948) .Charles H. Twelvetrees excelled in images of chubby cheeked children, however little is known about him Charles H. Twelvetrees was born in Utica, New York in 1872 and died in New York City in 1948. Early in his career he was a portrait artist but there is no record or photos of his portraiture. He began illustrating postcards around 1905.  For a more detailed account of Twelvetrees, there is currently a book “The Life and Works of Charles H. Twelvetrees: by  Robert William Mellberg.
