Photograph, 8 x 10, heavyweight paper, ca 1920s. An example of the use of multiple arms in Indian dance, representing a Hindu deity. Gunnell & Robb imprint.  In the 1920s, the photography studio of Gunnell and Robb located at 520 State Street. Kathryn Gunnell  gave special attention to performing artists appearing in Salem and was the official photographer for Franchon and Marco, a traveling vaudeville troupe. Very minor crease at tip of b/l corner. o/w exhibits strong contrast and clarity.  Fine condition.
